Media: Revolut plans to raise investment at a valuation of up to $15 billion

The British fintech firm Revolut, with roots in Russia, plans to undertake a new funding round that could lift the company’s valuation to $10-15 billion, Sky News reports.

The publication, citing its own sources, reports that Revolut has consulted with FT Partners about conducting a new round “after the summer”. In that round, the fintech could offer investors $250 million in shares.

People close to Revolut noted that the company does not need to raise funds.

Earlier, founder Nikolay Storonsky spoke about the company’s decision not to enter the Russian market.

In March, Revolut added to its banking app support for 11 additional cryptocurrencies.
