Morgan Stanley to Introduce Cryptocurrency Trading for E*Trade Users

Financial giant Morgan Stanley is preparing to launch cryptocurrency trading on its brokerage platform E*Trade, according to Bloomberg, citing its own sources.

The bank plans to implement the project next year and is currently discussing collaboration options with major crypto companies, insiders revealed.

Morgan Stanley’s management aims to provide users with access to buying and selling popular digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Wealthy clients of the bank already have access to cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds. Morgan Stanley has decided that spot trading will be the next step in development.

Back in October 2024, the financial institution’s investment in spot Bitcoin ETFs exceeded $272 million.
