AC Milan to issue fan tokens

The Italian football club AC Milan has teamed up with blockchain company Chiliz to issue fan tokens.

The $ACM Fan Token (ACM) coins will appear on the Socios.com blockchain platform within a few weeks. Owners of the old Milan Devils tokens will be able to exchange them for the new ACM tokens after the ACM release.

\n

\”This partnership will enable us to engage with our 450 million fans worldwide, which is especially important in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic,\” said club chief Kasper Stilsvig.

\n

ACM holders will be able to participate in exclusive club and sponsor promotions and competitions, as well as vote on at least one important club decision each season.

\n

Earlier Chiliz struck similar partnerships with clubs PSG, Juventus, West Ham United, Atlético and Barcelona.
