A representative of the DAO ApeCoin, known by the alias Vulkan, posted a detailed breakdown of the leadership’s salaries. Five members of the ‘special council’ earn a total of $104,000 per month.
With the passing of the Metaverse Working Group, there are now two WGs approved by the @ApeCoin DAO.
As the DAO continues to build out its infrastructure, it can be confusing to remember the different roles. Here’s a chart to help visualize it all and connect names to roles. pic.twitter.com/T93hxJNnJD

Vulkan himself, in the role of secretary, earns $7,000, and three forum administrators earn $24,000. The organisers and managers receive $27,000.
One Twitter user going by the handle Daniel G called the sums ‘insane’ and spoke of ‘burning money’.
He also expressed concern about the sizable salaries of the ‘special council’, which is responsible for submitting and managing proposals to improve the DAO. In his view, across different sectors, pay is higher because of risk, and in the crypto industry such risks exist.
i think the council jobs when done properly could be a lot of work/responsibility/risk so could be justified with the right people. seems like that Gerry guy def grinds for the community, unsure about the rest.
100k to mod a forum and another to supervise though is lols

“$100 000 to moderate a forum and another for supervision — that is, of course, funny,”
During the discussion, DAO board member Yat Sui said that the payouts to staff are equivalent to ‘their responsibility and role’ within the team. In his view, across different sectors, pay is higher because of risk, and in the crypto industry such risks exist.
Back in May, BitDAO DAO completed the migration of its official forum to the Mantle Network platform as part of the merger.
