
Binance wins approval to operate in Poland as a virtual-asset service provider
The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has secured approval from Polish authorities to operate in the country as a provider of virtual-asset services.
Witam, Poland 🇵🇱#Binance is fully compliant with Polish regulatory standards for virtual asset service providers (VASPs).
This registration enables #Binance to provide crypto asset exchange and custody services in the country.

«Binance Poland приняла политику в области рисков и борьбы с отмыванием денег, соответствующую строгим стандартам», — сообщила CEO местного подразделения Катажина Вабик.
Polish users must sign the new terms and conditions in order to continue using the services.
The company also announced plans to increase the division’s staff, host events and pursue educational initiatives.
In 2022, Binance’s user base surpassed 120 million people, and its team grew to 7,500 employees.
Earlier, CEO Changpeng Zhao said plans in 2023 to increase staff by 15–30%.
Binance has licenses from regulators France, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Sweden and Lithuania.
