Bitcoin mining difficulty hits an all-time high

As a result of yet another difficulty adjustment, Bitcoin mining difficulty rose by 4.13% to a record 28.58 trillion (T).

The previous all-time high of 29.97 T was recorded in February. In the following two recalculations the figure declined by 1.49% and 0.35% respectively.

The average hash rate for the second time in two weeks fell below the 200 EH/s threshold, at 184.23 EH/s.

In February, miners’ revenue for the first cryptocurrency fell by 13% compared with the previous month, barely exceeding $1 billion.

Earlier, Arcane Research forecasted growth in the share of the U.S. miners’ market.
