BitMEX to place its logo on AC Milan’s kit

The cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX has signed a ‘multiyear’ advertising contract with the Italian football club AC Milan, under which the trading platform’s logo will appear on the team’s official kit.

Exact terms of the contract were not disclosed. BitMEX’s logo will appear on the sleeves of the men’s, women’s and esports teams of the club. Milan will wear the updated kit for the first time on 23 August against Sampdoria.

“Our red-and-black jersey is not just a thing our players wear on the pitch; it represents us and embodies the passion of more than 500 million Milan fans around the world,” explained the club’s top executive Kasper Stiltsvig.

FTX entered into a seven-year agreement with Riot Games to showcase its brand during the League of Legends season tournament.

Earlier in July, Crypto.com signed a sponsorship deal with UFC. The logo of the payment platform will be placed on fighters’ gear, as well as the clothing of cutmen and octagon girls.
