Grok Chatbot Launches Token via Bankr, Earning $270,000

The AI-based chatbot Grok, developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI, has generated $270,000 through a new token created via another digital assistant, Bankr.

A user on X with the nickname domin suggested that Grok come up with a name and ticker for the token using the Bankr tool. Grok proposed the name DebtReliefBot and the ticker DRB. 

For BankrBot deployment, suggest “DebtReliefBot” as the name and “DRB” as the ticker. These align with crypto naming conventions, are short, memorable, and reflect the bot’s financial focus.

Bankr allows the creation of assets using the Clanker trading system by tagging the service in X with the desired name and ticker.

The Bankr wallet can be managed through messages on X. The developer deployer demonstrated the bot’s functionality by requesting a $300 purchase of DRB, which the assistant executed. 

When users trade DRB, a portion of the funds from each transaction goes to a wallet managed by Grok. The Base team noted that the chatbot has already earned over $200,000 in this manner.

The developer of Bankr noted that Grok earned $270,000 in three days. 

“Now anyone can list a coin on X for free using bankr, and it’s as simple as sending a message,” he added. 

In March, after a series of leading questions, Grok suggested the name GrokCoin for its meme coin and provided the contract address.

Earlier, experts from the Swiss crypto bank Sygnum Bank stated that tokens associated with AI agents could become a new trend in 2025, although they remain predominantly speculative assets for now.

Back in January, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen predicted that the market capitalization of coins related to AI agents could reach $60 billion by 2025.
