
Hacker of UXLINK Falls Victim to a Cyber Attack
UXLINK's multisig wallet was hacked, causing $11.3M in losses.
The multisig wallet of the UXLINK project was hacked. According to Cyvers, the initial damage amounted to $11.3 million.

The perpetrator gained control over the wallet by altering access rights. Subsequently, they withdrew assets worth $11.3 million: $4 million in USDT, $500,000 in USDC, 3.7 WBTC, and 25 ETH.
Part of the stolen stablecoins on the Ethereum network was exchanged for DAI by the hacker. In Arbitrum, they converted USDT to ETH and transferred them to the main blockchain. Another address received 10 million UXLINK, valued at about $3 million, from the hacker.
The platform team confirmed the incident. Representatives stated they are working with security experts to determine the cause of the breach.

UXLINK has reached out to CEXs and decentralized exchanges to freeze suspicious deposits and reported the incident to the police.
A Taste of His Own Medicine
Later, analysts at Lookonchain discovered that the hacker himself fell victim to a phishing attack, losing 542 million UXLINK worth $48 million.

The hacker has sold a massive $UXLINK on DEXes through six wallets, obtaining 6,732 $ETH ($28.1M).

Earlier in September, attackers stole 192,600 SOL worth $41 million from the Swiss crypto platform SwissBorg and hacked the DeFi platform Nemo for $2.4 million.
Subsequently, a hacker withdrew approximately $2.3 million in ETH and SHIB from the Shibarium bridge, which connects the L2 network with Ethereum.
