HTX DAO Burns $19.2 Million Worth of Tokens in Q1 2025

On April 15, the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) HTX DAO completed its latest quarterly token burn. During the first quarter of 2025, 11.3 trillion HTX tokens were destroyed, amounting to over $19.2 million, according to a press release.

HTX DAO implemented the mechanism in early October 2024. As part of its deflationary model, the DAO allocates 50% of its revenue from the HTX exchange to burning tokens. All transactions are conducted via the Sun.io platform and are available for verification on the TRON blockchain.

The volume of HTX burned decreased by 15% compared to the previous quarter. To date, HTX DAO has destroyed 60.97 trillion HTX tokens, with a total value exceeding $114 million.

“Regular quarterly burns reduce the number of tokens in circulation. This enhances the value of HTX in the medium and long term, contributing to the sustainable development of the entire ecosystem,” the press release notes.
