Matt Damon becomes ambassador for Crypto.com

Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon has become an ambassador for the Hong Kong cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com.

“I\’ve never done anything like this before. Our collaboration could be long-term.”, — Damon commented.

The actor agreed to Crypto.com after the platform пожертвовала $1 million to Water.org, the charitable foundation he supports, and pledged to promote the initiative among users.

The nonprofit organization is aimed at providing access to clean drinking water for residents of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Crypto.com allocated a total of $100 million to promote the campaign Fortune Favours the Brave in 20 countries. The Oscar-winning director Wally Pfister directed the ad, produced by David Fincher.

In addition to Damon, the marketing campaign will also feature actress and former mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey, basketball star Carmelo Anthony and snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis.

In June 2021 Crypto.com signed sponsorship deals with «Formula-1» and separately with one of its stables Aston Martin Cognizant. The platform also collaborates with UFC, the Italian Serie A, clubs Paris Saint-Germain, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Montreal Canadiens.
