Media: Two more Finiko pyramid leaders detained in Kazan

Kazan police detained two privileged participants in the Finiko financial pyramid — Liliya Nurieva and Dina Gabdullina. Local media, citing their own sources, reported this.

Liliya Nurieva held the company’s status of the so-called ‘tenth star’. It was awarded to those whose total investments, including funds from recruited participants, exceeded $1 million. Dina Gabdullina held the status of ‘vice president’ — she brought into Finiko more than $10 million.

Both pyramid participants are detained in connection with a fraud case, sources say.

According to this Telegram channel «Вкладер», Liliya Nurieva is the founder of the legal services bureau ‘Real Estate and Law’ in Kazan. Dina Gabdullina boasted a daily income of 1 million rubles.

The day before, law-enforcement detained the Finiko vice president and personal assistant to the pyramid founder Kirill Doronin — Ilgiz Shakirov. The court ordered his arrest until September 28.

The Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan is conducting a probe into another 50 people who are believed to have lured investors to the financial pyramid.

The criminal case against Finiko’s founders was opened on July 28. Official damages in the case amount to over 250 million rubles.

Real damages, according to independent experts, exceeds $4 billion, with the number of victims no less than 850,000 people.

Founder of Finiko Kirill Doronin is in pre-trial detention. Three of his partners — Zygmunt Zygmuntovich, as well as Edward and Marat Sabirovs — have been declared internationally wanted and arrested in absentia.
