Return on investment in the first cryptocurrency is higher than that from investments in technology stocks at their early stages, said MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor in an interview with MMCrypto’s YouTube channel.
According to him, huge sums of money are flowing into digital assets from traditional markets — currencies, stocks and bonds.
“I invested across the board. I was an early investor in Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Google, OpenTable, eBay and PayPal. And I raised enormous sums. I increased my capital tenfold, twentyfold. And I would say that investments in Bitcoin look far more attractive,” explained Saylor.
Earlier MicroStrategy invested $650 million in Bitcoin. In total, MicroStrategy has invested $1.12 billion in the first cryptocurrency and now holds 70,470 BTC (more than $2.7 billion at the time of writing).
Back on December 24, Saylor said that money flowing from financial assets into Bitcoin is not a rally and not a bubble.
