NBA Team Releases Series of NFT Rings and Ticket Stubs

The Golden State Warriors from San Francisco released a series of digital rings and ticket stubs in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Part of the NFT collection comprises six NBA championship rings, the first of which also includes a physical version. They were made to order.

“Whoever makes the biggest bet will be the only person in the world to own this piece of Warriors history,” according to the description.

The other part includes a collection of digital ticket stub keepsakes commemorating the club’s best moments. One of them (Golden Ticket NFT) ties together historic events from the Warriors’ 75-year history.

The auction runs on the OpenSea platform until May 1, 2021. Bids for the unique collectible items are accepted until May 2.

The club will donate part of the proceeds from the NFT collection sale to the Warriors Community Foundation.

Earlier, the collectible maker Topps unveiled the first series of NFT trading cards for Major League Baseball on the WAX blockchain.

In April 2021, football star Pelé announced that will release a non-fungible token on the Ethernity Chain platform.
