The CMP 40HX is based on a trimmed-down Nvidia TU106-100 GPU. The device is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus. The nominal TDP is 185 W.

To achieve higher performance, the tester optimized power consumption of the GPUs and adjusted memory clock frequencies.

According to the source, the Nvidia CMP 40HX chip will cost miners $699. Shipments of the device were initially planned for March, but it is still in the testing phase.
