Non-custodial exchange PancakeSwap has added support for the most popular second-layer solution — Arbitrum One, built on Optimistic Rollups technology.
According to developers, the new integration will speed up transactions and reduce fees.
According to data from L2BEAT, Arbitrum One leads among L2 solutions with TVL of $6.01 billion.
Initially, PancakeSwap will offer coin swapping and liquidity provisioning in pools based on Arbitrum. In the coming weeks, CAKE token farming and the IFO platform will be available on the new network.
Originally operating only on BNB Chain, PancakeSwap also supports Ethereum, Aptos, Polygon zkEVM and zkSync Era.
In April, the launch of the third version of the popular decentralized exchange took place. In particular, PancakeSwap developers implemented the concentrated liquidity concept.
Since August 9, CAKE stakers with fixed lock-up periods receive 5% of trading fees in the protocol weekly.
