Phantom is a digital wallet for assets built on the Solana blockchain. It is currently offered as a browser extension, but in November the project team announced a mobile app.
The developers will put up for sale 7,000 NFTs. The auctions will start at 8 SOL (~$1,512), with the price decreasing by 0.25 SOL every ten minutes. All proceeds, as well as 10% of secondary sales of the tokens, will go to the non-profit organization Girls Who Code.
The winners of the auction will gain access to the iOS beta of the app. To verify, you will need to connect your wallet to the developers’ site. After that, the system will allow participation in testing.
The team also said that the app will be publicly available in about a month.
Earlier in September, the decentralized streaming Audius platform was integrated with Phantom.
In July, the operator of the digital wallet raised $9 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
