Puma to release NFT sneakers in collaboration with Wagmi-san and 10KTF

The sportswear maker Puma announced a collection of NFT sneakers in collaboration with digital artist Wagmi-san and the 10KTF store.

The new models are equipped with NFC chips "to connect the physical and digital worlds." Non-fungible tokens will help verify the authenticity of the sneakers.

The Grailed PUMA Slipstream NFT release is scheduled for April 27. A total of 2,000 NFTs will be minted, with a mint price of 200 APE (around $814 at the time of writing).

In April, the sportswear brand Nike introduced a new NFT collection in the form of digital sneakers — Our Force 1. The firm will release them on its own Web3-platform Swoosh, which announced in November 2022.

Earlier, Adidas expanded its Into The Metaverse NFT ecosystem, releasing the ALTS by Adidas collection.
