Rapper Busta Rhymes buys Bitcoin after conference with Elon Musk

American rapper Trevor George Smith Jr., better known as Busta Rhymes (Busta Rhymes), invested in the first cryptocurrency. He said this was inspired by The B Word conference featuring Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey and Cathie Wood.

“I’m officially holding Bitcoin. Next, I’m eyeing ETH,” wrote the performer.

On July 14, Busta Rhymes asked his followers whether any of them are involved in cryptocurrencies.

Later the rapper reacted to a tweet by boxer Mike Tyson, to which MicroStrategy head Michael Saylor advised Bitcoin. Busta Rhymes also thanked Jack Dorsey for the link to an educational site about digital gold.

According to the official site The B Word, the conference aims to explain, “how institutions can start accepting Bitcoin and how we all can support the network”.

During the event Elon Musk said that he owns Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin. He said SpaceX, the space company, invested in Bitcoin.

In June, actor Neil Patrick Harris revealed his investments in digital gold and called cryptocurrencies “the future of shopping, investing and business”.
