Ripple opens vacancy for director of central bank engagement

The fintech company Ripple posted a vacancy for an expert specializing in central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

The role of senior director for central bank engagement requires years of experience in selling enterprise technologies to financial institutions.

Ripple will prefer a candidate who is well-versed in digital assets and blockchain technology.

The responsibilities of the future employee include managing CBDC projects and establishing channels of communication between central banks and various project teams. Another area of responsibility is managing the company’s strategy in this direction and building relationships with global regulators.

Earlier in September, Ripple co-founder and executive chairman Chris Larsen stated that the United States is losing the battle for the global financial system to China, which is poised to issue a digital yuan.
