On September 8, unknown attackers hacked the Slovakia-based cryptocurrency exchange Eterbase. The platform said user funds in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, XRP, Tezos and Algorand were stolen, totaling more than $5.3 million.

Representatives of Eterbase said they had contacted all centralized exchanges to which the stolen funds were sent.
More details will be available after the investigation, they added.
Trading on the exchange has been suspended.
Earlier in July, an unknown hacker emptied the Bitcoin wallet of British fintech Cashaa, operator of the Cashaa cryptocurrency exchange. The loss amounted to about 336 BTC (about $3.1 million at the time).
