Starbucks to release new NFT collection on the Polygon network

The Starbucks coffeehouse chain will release an NFT collection dedicated to the company’s first store, which opened in 1971 in Seattle.

“People from all over the world come to see this historic landmark with their own eyes, feeling nostalgia and a sense of belonging to something bigger. […] With the Starbucks First Store collection you can own a piece of history,” the announcement on the Nifty Gateway marketplace says.

Sales of 5,000 digital collectible items on the Polygon network will begin on April 19. Early access will be granted to holders of two or more NFT Journey Stamp, released by the company as part of the Web3-initiative Odyssey. The price for Starbucks First Store is set at $100 per token.

In March, the coffee chain представила a collection of NFTs titled Siren Collection.

2,000 “digital stamps” were sold in under 20 minutes at $100 each. The current floor price for the assets составляет $494. On average, the series’ tokens traded on the secondary market for $691.
