Strategy Acquires Bitcoin Worth $10 Million

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) has announced the purchase of 130 BTC for $10.7 million. This marks the smallest transaction in the past 12 months.

The price per coin was $82,981.

The purchase was financed through an ATM program, aimed at raising up to $21 billion for further investments in digital gold.

With this latest acquisition, Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings have reached 499,226 BTC. The total expenditure on these acquisitions amounts to $33.1 billion, with an average price of approximately $66,360 per coin.

Following the market opening on March 17, the company’s stock (MSTR) fell by 2.60% to $289.7, according to MarketWatch.

Earlier, on February 24, Strategy purchased 20,356 BTC for $1.99 billion at a rate of $97,514.
