Tether Unveils Decentralized AI Platform QVAC

Tether has announced a new platform for developing “infinite and ubiquitous intelligence,” which aims to “launch and evolve” AI agents on user devices instead of large company data centers.

QuantumVerse Automatic Computer (QVAC) eliminates the need for cloud connectivity, offering greater privacy, autonomy, and resilience. Its modular architecture allows developers to build and expand applications using small composite elements.

The peer-to-peer network facilitates direct communication between devices and collaboration without reliance on centralized servers.

“This unique architecture allows the QVAC ecosystem to scale to trillions of AI agents and applications without points of failure, providing the first-ever unstoppable swarm of infinite intelligence. The company claims that with QVAC, developers can use a single framework to create and deploy AI inferences and agents on any smartphones, laptops, mainframes, embedded systems, brain-computer interfaces, and a range of other hardware, ensuring secure and independent operation of applications, both network-connected and fully autonomous.

Soon, Tether will launch the first applications based on QVAC, focusing on privacy and self-control. These include a translator and a wellness tracker.

“Artificial intelligence should drive the next wave of societal and human growth, not hand over even greater control to corporations owning servers and access keys,” commented the company’s CEO, Paolo Ardoino.

QVAC is part of Tether’s broader concept of creating decentralized artificial intelligence, the announcement notes.

In May, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino announced the launch of Tether AI — a personal artificial intelligence accessible to everyone.
