TRON and Waves to join forces to advance DeFi projects

TRON Foundation and Waves announced a partnership to connect their blockchain networks using the Gravity protocol and to enable interoperability of smart contracts written in Ride and Solidity.

\”The Gravity protocol will enable a unified economic space, making DeFi projects accessible on both chains,\” said Alexander Ivanov, president of the Waves Association.

\n

As part of the integration, TRC-20 standard tokens will be available on the Waves blockchain through decentralized gateways and will automatically appear on the Waves protocol’s decentralized exchanges.

\n

In turn, Waves ecosystem tokens will become available on the TRON blockchain via the Gravity protocol and will appear in TRON’s DEX and DeFi services.

\n

Additionally, dApp developers on the TRON and Waves networks will be able to use Gravity’s oracle data services.

\n

The partnership between the two companies is not limited to the listed integrations and will continue to expand in the future, according to the press release.

\n

Earlier Waves announced the creation of cross-chain infrastructure for the DeFi sector in collaboration with Ontology.
