Ukraine has launched the “world’s first” state AI agent on the “Diia” portal. It not only answers questions but also provides services directly in chat, according to Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation.
“Diia.AI” is capable of:
- providing services — users can obtain income statements in chat;
- explaining available features on the portal — one can inquire about the procedure for opening a FOP or other information;
- suggesting tools for specific situations — for instance, if a house is damaged, the AI agent will advise on “eRecovery” and provide the relevant instructions.
“Ukraine is betting on artificial intelligence. This is not a trend, but our clear mission — to be among the top three countries in the world by 2030 in AI development and integration in the public sector. We are focusing on transforming ‘Diia’ from a digital service into a full-fledged AI agent that will operate 24/7 and provide services without filling out unnecessary forms and fields,” Fedorov stated.
Currently, “Diia.AI” is operating in an open beta test format. The official reported that on the first day, the service received nearly 20,000 messages, with over 6,000 dialogues opened. Users requested 425 income statements.
In August, Fedorov announced the introduction of the first state infrastructure for AI development — AI Factory.
Back in June, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine launched a sandbox for testing blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies.
