Most commentators linked the assets to the DeFi project Core DAO.
The movement of long-dormant funds by unknown owners routinely draws the community’s attention. Usually this concerns early Bitcoins.
In May 2021 moved 500 BTC for the first time since the 2013 consolidation (~$27.6 million at the time). In September, an unknown moved 616 BTC, which had been dormant since 2012.
