
Users move $8m in assets to the zkSync network in anticipation of an airdrop
Over the past week, crypto enthusiasts moved assets worth about $8m into the zkSync blockchain in anticipation of a potential airdrop. As reported by CoinDesk.
Among strategies mentioned on Twitter to increase the chances of obtaining a utility token: moving assets, providing liquidity on DEX such as ZigZag, and periodic trading.
According to DeFi Llama, TVL of the aforementioned exchange jumped to $12.06m from $1.96m a week earlier.
The publication noted that speculation about the zkSync airdrop arose after scheduled for March 23 token airdrop for the Arbitrum project.
“This airdrop has sparked interest in looking for equivalents in other networks,” explained Martin Li, a Nansen analyst.
Recently it emerged that unreleased Arbitrum tokens have already begun selling on over-the-counter markets.
