YouTube to explore NFT integration

YouTube is exploring options related to NFT for content creators. The CEO of the video-hosting platform, Susan Wojcicki, said this, Bloomberg reports.

“We are always focused on expanding the YouTube ecosystem and are ready to help bloggers profit from new technologies, including NFT,” she wrote in a statement.

According to the executive, YouTube uses Web 3.0 as a ‘source of inspiration’.

Earlier, Twitter introduced an NFT verification option in the form of a profile picture

In January, media reported that Meta plans to integrate non-fungible tokens into Facebook and Instagram.
