Oktyabrsk woman loses over 2 million rubles attempting to invest in cryptocurrencies

A resident of Oktyabrsk became a victim of criminals who allegedly helped her invest in cryptocurrencies.

According to the information agency «Samara», an unknown person contacted the victim after she left her contact details on one of the sites. He ‘explained’ how to invest funds in cryptocurrency to earn profits.

The woman transferred money to the accounts indicated by the fraudster over the course of a month, resulting in a loss of over 2 million rubles.

The police have opened a criminal case.

Earlier, a resident of Barnaul lost 371,000 rubles due to cryptocurrency scammers.
