Only 11% of Russians are willing to receive salaries in digital rubles, 41% are firmly opposed, and 48% of respondents found it difficult to answer. These results come from HeadHunter’s study, as reported by «Известия».
The survey involved more than 3,000 people.
Of those who expressed willingness to be paid in digital rubles, half would receive the full amount this way, while the other half would accept no more than 50% of monthly payments.
At the end of June the Bank of Russia named 12 banks that will pilot the digital ruble. The pilot group includes Sberbank, Tinkoff Bank, VTB, Rosbank, Promsvyazbank, Alfa-Bank, Gazprombank, Ak Bars Bank, Bank DOM.RF, SKB Bank, Bank Soyuz, and TKB Bank.
According to HeadHunter, 87% of Russians receive their salary fully or partially on the cards of these banks.
It is planned that the digital ruble will be tested with a limited circle of clients.
According to survey by the Center for Financial Technologies and the Digital Economy SKOLKOVO-RESH, half of Russians are willing to use the central bank’s digital ruble; 22% firmly oppose.
