SkyBridge Capital names custodian in Bitcoin ETF filing

The New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG) указана as custodian in the updated filing by SkyBridge Capital and First Trust Advisors to launch a Bitcoin-based exchange-traded fund.

The organizations submitted documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in March 2021. In the initial version, First Trust Advisors was listed as the fund’s advisor, and SkyBridge Capital as its co-manager. It was not disclosed who would serve as custodian of the digital assets.

The SEC is reviewing applications from WisdomTree and Kryptoin. The regulator extended the deadlines for VanEck’s documents to June 17.
