Survey finds 10% of Norway's adults own cryptocurrencies

The share of cryptocurrency holders among Norway’s adult population in 2018-2021 nearly doubled, reaching 10%. This is stated in a joint study by Arcane Research and Ernst & Young.

The authors surveyed residents of Norway to determine how the popularity of digital currencies changed among them in 2021, and compared the data with figures from previous years. Their key findings:

Earlier, a Huobi Group survey showed that 68% of US crypto investors made their first transaction in 2021.
