Tesla investor forecasts Bitcoin market capitalization to reach $5 trillion

Bitcoin’s market capitalization could rise to trillions of dollars within five to ten years. This is what believe ARK Invest analysts—the Tesla investor—are saying.

The report claims that Bitcoin should scale to $1-$5 trillion by 2025-2030. Currently Bitcoin’s market capitalization stands at $198.3 billion (CoinGecko). Realized capitalization, according to the service Glassnode, is at $115.8 billion.

“Although many investors doubt its merits, we believe that Bitcoin could become the most attractive monetary asset after gold,” the analysts say.

They advise investors not to ignore Bitcoin as a new and developing asset class.

Earlier, the BTCC co-founder and former CEO Bobby Lee said that by 2028 Bitcoin will be worth $500,000 and will surpass gold in market capitalization.

As reported, on 24 September Bitcoin’s realized capitalization has grown by 60% relative to 2017-2018 levels. The metric hit an all-time high of $115.8 billion.
