Tether Introduces QVAC Health: A Privacy-First Alternative to Apple Health

Tether unveils QVAC Health, a privacy-first platform for medical data analysis.

The company behind USDT, Tether, has unveiled a platform for collecting and analyzing medical data—QVAC Health.

The service aggregates information from fitness trackers, smartwatches, and nutrition apps in a single secure environment. Its architecture is based on local processing: algorithms analyze activity, sleep, and nutrition directly on the device, without transmitting information to external servers.

The platform’s interface supports the input of health, exercise, and nutrition data using natural language—via text messages or voice commands.

The built-in AI recognizes the context of entries (such as “reduced energy after eating” or strength training parameters) and automatically structures them in the user’s chronological feed. A separate module manages medication tracking and reminders.

QVAC Health also integrates computer vision. By analyzing a photo of food, the algorithm calculates approximate calorie content and macronutrient composition in seconds.

AI models for deep analytics are downloaded through decentralized P2P networks. This allows for recovery assessments and trend identification in offline mode without constant internet connectivity.

Plans

According to the roadmap, the platform will eventually feature proactive analytics tools. Local models will provide personalized recommendations, such as adjustments to sleep or workouts. Data processing will occur in real-time.

In the future, developers plan to implement direct connections to trackers via Bluetooth, bypassing cloud systems from manufacturers like Apple or Google Fit.

Tether envisions QVAC Health as a “neutral ground for health data.” According to the company’s CEO, Paolo Ardoino, the product reflects a strategy to develop private analytical tools that operate locally.

The new platform is part of the strategic QVAC project, overseen by Tether Data. The initiative aims to create decentralized AI systems. The project was unveiled in May.

In October, the company introduced the world’s largest synthetic dataset for training AI models, Genesis I, on QVAC.

That same month, Tether launched an open-source wallet development toolkit.
