72 Bitcoin miners worth $60,000 destroyed in a fire in Thailand
In early December, a Bitcoin mining farm in Chiang Mai province, Thailand, consisting of 72 ASIC miners, burned down. Local media report this.
The fire broke out at night on the second floor of a three-story office building.
Because there was no one in adjoining rooms, firefighters arrived too late.

Possible causes include overheating and wiring problems.
Preliminary estimates put the damage at no less than $60,000. The actual value of the burned equipment could be much higher.
Earlier, in August, Ukraine’s Nova Poshta lost part of customer parcels due to a fire. For the burned ASIC miner worth $4,000, the company offered to pay the customer $7, according to the amount stated on the waybill.
