Bitcoin Critic Peter Schiff Promotes His Ordinals Collection
Peter Schiff, President of Euro Pacific Capital, highlighted his Ordinals collection named Golden Triumph. The community criticized the Bitcoin skeptic under his post.
With Bitcoin over $80K, it’s a good time to spend some on a Peter Schiff Ordinal, each one inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain. There’s 21 million Bitcoin but only 50 Golden Triumph ordinals. It’s clear which one is more valuable. You can’t argue with math.https://t.co/SPJSbv1ut5

“With Bitcoin over $80,000, it’s a good time to spend some on a Peter Schiff Ordinal, each one inscribed on the blockchain. There are 21 million BTC and only 50 Golden Triumph inscriptions. It’s clear which is more valuable. You can’t argue with math,” the entrepreneur wrote.
Schiff announced his collection in May 2023. It is hosted on the marketplace Magic Eden and contains 50 numbered images.
At the time of writing, 10 lots are listed for sale with a floor price of 0.1245 BTC. The maximum price for one of the tokens reaches 2 BTC.
One user pointed out that Schiff has criticized Bitcoin for 10 years, yet now seeks to gain digital gold through his NFTs.
“I’m the one who will sell my Ordinals and get your Bitcoin. I don’t even have a wallet,” he replied.
When asked why anyone would part with their Bitcoins in exchange for Ordinals, Schiff stated that Golden Triumph is more valuable than the first cryptocurrency because they are “rarer.”
In September 2024, the President of Euro Pacific Capital compared Bitcoin to gold in the context of its historical peak. Commenters recalled his past publications predicting against digital gold.
