Binance Removes BRC-20 Token Marketplace from Wallet
Binance has removed the marketplace for trading Bitcoin “inscriptions” from its Web3 wallet, as reported by customer support.
Binance representatives commented on the situation in a conversation with ForkLog:
“As part of efforts to optimize offerings and prioritize features with maximum value for users, the migration of the Inscription Marketplace to the new version of Binance Wallet is not yet complete.
Users can display, send, and receive inscription assets in the new Binance Wallet. Buying and selling assets is possible on the Inscription Marketplace in the previous version of the wallet through the settings menu.
With the development of the cryptocurrency industry, we intend to focus on market trends and user demand in decisions regarding our products. Our main focus remains on developing innovative and meaningful features to enhance the Binance Wallet user experience.”

Access to trading “inscriptions” BRC-20 disappeared with the update of the Binance Web3 Wallet and its rebranding to Binance Wallet.
According to the company’s announcement, the update aims to simplify the interface and user experience. However, there is no direct mention of the removal of the Binance Inscriptions marketplace from the wallet.
The cessation of access was reported by customer support when a user on X inquired about the marketplace’s disappearance.
“The Inscription market has been removed. Currently, you cannot buy or sell Inscription assets,” the service replied.
Users are still able to view and transfer assets in the Inscription Center menu.
Binance launched the marketplace for trading “inscriptions” on February 1, 2024, as a built-in feature in its Web3 wallet. The solution was based on the API of the UniSat platform, designed for Ordinals protocol assets.
Earlier, on December 5, Binance announced Bitcoin staking with support from the Babylon protocol.
