Binance awards grants to six DeFi projects
The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has selected the first batch of projects that will receive grants from the seed investment fund with a $100 million capital. ForkLog reported that representatives of the company said.
Among the winners are the automated market makers AnySwap and BakerySwap, Arkane Network, a data platform for game developers, the leading liquidity provider on Binance Smart Chain – PancakeSwap, and the projects Bitquery and Proxima.
They were selected from 180 projects based on strict criteria: team, product, vision, and contribution to the blockchain ecosystem. In total, the winners will receive $350,000.
In September, the exchange stated plans to financially support the development of the Binance Chain ecosystem. In addition to funding, the selected projects will also gain access to Binance services, including the Launchpool platform for farming new tokens and the Binance Labs incubator.
Also in September, Binance Chain launched the Binance Smart Chain mainnet, which enables the creation of smart contracts and earning by staking the BNB token.
