Binance enables verification via Diia

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has integrated with Ukraine’s state service Diia. This was disclosed by platform representatives ForkLog UA.

Under the partnership, new users from Ukraine will be able to verify themselves on the trading platform via the app.

According to словам of Deputy Minister for IT Development at the Digital Transformation Ministry, Alexander Bornyakov, the KYC procedure on the exchange via ‘Diia’ takes only a few minutes.

Verification via the service is available only to new users on Binance’s web version, as well as in the exchange’s app. Over time, this option will also become available to clients of the platform who registered before 5 September.

Earlier in July Binance joined the global digital lend-lease for Ukraine – Digital4Freedom. The initiative will involve global companies in the country’s further large-scale digitisation.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the exchange has allocated more than $3.3 million to Ukrainian refugees and temporarily displaced persons.
