Binance Launches Moonbix Game on Telegram

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has launched its own mini-game on the Telegram messenger platform, named Moonbix.

“We’re aware that our upcoming Telegram game Moonbix was leaked ahead of the planned launch date. We’re thrilled by the community’s response, but we’re still working on the product to ensure the best user experience at the official launch,” the statement reads.

The game is already available on Telegram. At the start, users receive 100 coins and six attempts, which replenish one every 10 minutes.

The gameplay resembles popular claw machines. Players must press a button at the right moment to catch yellow balls and avoid meteors. Each attempt lasts 45 seconds.

Like other Telegram games, Moonbix is distributed through a referral program. Invitees receive 1000 coins, while referrers earn 10% of the invitees’ earnings, up to a maximum of 50,000 coins.

The game includes a task section: subscribe to a Telegram channel, share in a story, and link your Binance account.

“The more points [coins] you earn, the higher your chances of receiving cryptocurrency rewards,” the page states.

Although the Terms and Conditions page does not mention an airdrop or the listing of a new token, it does refer to certain rewards.

“Only users from eligible regions who have linked their Binance account in Moonbix and completed KYC are eligible for any rewards,” the text states.

The developers have noted separately that their game is not affiliated with Telegram or any other social media platform.

Earlier, the airdrop for the most popular Telegram game Hamster Kombat is scheduled for September 26. Binance announced the listing of the meme token HMSTR.

In May, major cryptocurrency exchanges listed the NOT coin from the Web3 project Notcoin.
