Binance launches NFT marketplace

Binance, the cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a platform for non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Binance NFT users gained the ability to participate in the first premium auction, Genesis, purchase works released under the 100 creators program, and trade tokens on the marketplace.

At Genesis, the works will include Andy Warhol’s ‘Three Self-Portraits’ and Salvador Dalí’s ‘Divine Comedy: Resurrection’.

The debut collection on the Mystery Box platform will be tokidoki (in Japanese, meaning ‘sometimes’), which includes 16 iconic works. Among them are three exclusive Binance-branded characters.

“Mystery boxes are designed to give users more enjoyment and engagement, with an element of surprise,” Binance said.

Earlier, as part of the 100 creators program on the marketplace Ukrainian рэп-исполнитель Потап and певица Тина Кароль, Russian artists Миша Most and Покрас Лампас, as well as rapper Элджей, will release their works.
