Binance signs memorandum with Georgian authorities to implement blockchain educational initiatives

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance подписала memorandum of understanding with the Georgian Agency for Innovation and Technology (GITA) to implement blockchain initiatives.

Collaboration under the agreement will include various educational and charitable initiatives from Binance Academy and Binance Charity, as well as local events and hackathons from BNB Chain.

«As part of this collaboration, Binance will help foster new startup ideas and implement projects aimed at commercialisation», said Avtandil Kasradze, chairman of GITA.

This is not the exchange’s first educational initiative in the country. Last month Binance signed a memorandum of cooperation with the University of Business and Technology of Georgia. Together with Binance Academy, the platform will provide teaching materials to educate students on the basics of blockchain, Web3, NFT and cryptocurrencies.

Earlier, Binance announced a partnership with Air Astana — the largest airline in Kazakhstan.
