The Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan extended the arrest term of Finiko’s ‘vice president’ Ilgiz Shakirov until November 28. сообщают local media report this.
The defence pressed for house arrest for the defendant. Shakirov himself said that he still does not understand the reason for his detention.
“The investigation accuses me of some company that I don’t even know,” he added.
«Вице-президент» «Финико» Дина Габдуллина и «десятая звезда» Лилия Нуриева were unable to appeal their arrest. The Supreme Court of Tatarstan extended their detention until до 7 ноября.
A criminal case has been opened against Finiko for fraud in a particularly large amount. It is being handled by the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with investigators from the Organized Crime Investigation Department.
Earlier, the arrest of the pyramid’s founder Kirill Doronin was extended.
Co-founders of the pyramid — Edward and Marat Sabirov, and Zygmunt Zygmuntowicz – have been declared in international wanted and arrested in absentia. According to investigators, they left Russia through Belarus and may be in the United Arab Emirates.
The aggregate damage from Finiko’s activities, according to independent estimates, exceeds $4 billion. The number of victims is at least 850,000.
