CryptoQuant: Bitcoin’s Rise Attributed to Major Investors

CryptoQuant analysts have determined that since the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States, Bitcoin has been supported by major investors.

The digital holdings of whales have increased from 16.2 to 16.4 million BTC, while smaller participants have reduced their assets from 1.75 to 1.69 million BTC.

An expert known as Crazzyblockk concluded that hodlers exert minimal selling pressure on the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.

“Only 18% of Bitcoin deposits into Binance come from long-term holders—those holding BTC for over 155 days,” noted a CryptoQuant contributor.

According to him, experienced investors avoid selling despite high volatility. This “strengthens hodler sentiment.”

Crazzyblockk also noted the “lowest level” of the Coin Days Destroyed (CDD) metric, indicating minimal activity of “old” coins and “patience of long-term holders.”

As reported by analysts at Glassnode, hodlers have also returned to accumulating Bitcoin following a sharp sell-off at the $100,000 level.
