Amazon Enhances AI Services with Titan Image Generator and Music Updates

Amazon has launched an updated image generator, Titan Image Generator, for users of the Amazon Bedrock service.
The second version of the tool offers a range of new features in addition to existing ones, including image editing, managing the drawing creation process using references, background removal, generating different artwork variations, and model customization to maintain brand style and theme consistency.
Image conditioning is one of the features of Titan Image Generator v2, allowing the drawing to take on a precise and targeted form. Users can provide the AI with an image and instruct the model to focus on specific visual characteristics.
Color processing allows for the creation of an image based on a specific color palette.
Background removal with Titan Image Generator v2 is described as “instant.” The company claims the tool works even with complex images featuring overlapping elements.
Object consistency allows users to upload an image, such as a photo of a dog, and provide text prompts to generate a new image.
Amazon Titan Generator v2 is available in the US. A list of regions for future updates is provided.
AI Features Added to Amazon Music
Amazon Music has launched a new AI-based feature called Topics, which simplifies the search for topics of interest in podcasts.
When a user opens a podcast episode page, the Topics tag will display a list of moments where similar issues are discussed, enabling the discovery of related content on topics of interest.
Topics is available to all customers in the US on iOS and Android devices.
Another new AI feature is Maestro. This tool uses AI to generate playlists with prompts. It was launched in beta mode in April.
Previously, Amazon launched the AI-based personal assistant Rufus for product searches, comparisons, and shopping recommendations.
Back in April, Amazon Bedrock added a new model from Mistral AI.
In March, the company increased its investment in AI startup Anthropic to $4 billion.
