C-BASE crypto exchange secures license in Uzbekistan

The National Agency for Prospective Projects of Uzbekistan (NAPP) issued a license for the operation of C-BASE’s crypto shop.

In addition to it, four other exchanges are listed in the NAPP register: Crypto Trade Net, Crypto Market, Crypto Express and Cryptopay.

Earlier in June, Uzbekistan granted the first license in the country for operating a crypto depository to Lockton Hub.

In 2022, the authorities adopted a series of laws regulating the cryptocurrency market. The NAPP also established the framework for the issuance and circulation of digital assets.

In particular, the rules for licensing and trading on crypto exchanges were established. In addition, miners and providers of cryptocurrency-related services began paying monthly fees.
