Trump Media to Introduce Wallet and Token for Subscriptions on Truth Social

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s social network Truth Social, is considering launching a token and wallet for payments on the streaming platform Truth+. This was announced by TMTG CEO Devin Nunes in a letter to shareholders.

The digital asset is initially planned for use in subscriptions to Truth+, and subsequently for other products within the “Truth ecosystem.” 

According to Nunes, the token and wallet will be part of a rewards program. This will encompass all company services, including Truth Social and the fintech platform Truth.Fi.

In April, TMTG announced plans to launch a crypto-ETF in collaboration with the exchange Crypto.com and the firm Yorkville America Digital.

Back in February, Trump’s firm, the Trump Organization, filed an application to register the trademark TRUMP for a planned metaverse dedicated to the president.
