Crypto exchange WhiteBIT has entered into a strategic partnership with Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell — a subsidiary of Turkish Turkcell with 68 million subscribers across multiple countries. In Ukraine lifecell has 8.9 million users.
As part of the collaboration, WhiteBIT and lifecell customers will be able to link mobile numbers to exchange accounts, which in the future will enable cryptocurrency exchanges by number. In the pipeline, the companies will offer crypto starter packs with additional SIM-card protection and unlimited access to the WhiteBIT app.
Another area of cooperation is purchasing cryptocurrencies from the mobile balance via the lifecell app.
According to ForkLog, after Ukraine the partners will offer their products in the Turkish market.
For the first Bitcoin purchase on WhiteBIT, lifecell subscribers will receive various bonuses.
According to ForkLog, WhiteBIT is a partner of the Ukrainian neobank Monobank on the Bitcoin card project. The product is ready, but the launch will take place only after the central bank’s approval. Monobank in Ukraine has almost 4.5 million active customers.
In August, WhiteBIT bought CryptoPunk #6390 for 74.5 ETH. Then Vladimir Nosov promised to launch an NFT marketplace in partnership with a major media holding.
