Binance announced a partnership with video blogger Khaby Lame. The Italian-Senegalese with 144 million followers on TikTok has become the ambassador of the Bitcoin exchange.
Lame tops the ranking of TikTok accounts by follower count. He rose to fame thanks to videos in which, without uttering a word, he sarcastically mocks people who complicate simple tasks.
The vlogger will promote Web3 technologies and collaborate with Binance on NFT projects, \”further expanding the experience of his fans,\” the company said.
The partnership is expected to bolster the Binance ecosystem and the crypto industry at large.

As a reminder, the FTX exchange’s ambassadors previously included NBA star Stephen Curry and Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka.
The cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com selected the Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon for this role.
